New York

First time: Spring, 2010
Last time: Spring, 2015

I've been to New York City twice. In the spring of 2010, I visited NYC for the first time for work. To get there I took an Amtrak train from Chicago to New York City. My first view of New York City was Penn Station. I spent the week working on the 23rd flood of a federal building on the south side of NYC. This was the view from where I working.

My very good friend Kevin gave me a walking your of New York City. It took two days, and still we didn't cover everything. Here are two random pictures from that excursion.

You can read a brief review of my trip and see many more pictures here.

In the summer of 2013, my family and I stopped in New York several times on our way to Niagara Falls. We stayed the night in Albany twice, and met my friend Steve and his wife in Rochester.

While in New York state we got to eat a couple of interesting things. One was a Garbage Plate from Nick Tahou's.

The other was Buffalo wings in Buffalo, New York at Duff's Famous Wings.

As you can tell, they were very hot and destroyed my daughter's brain.

In the spring of 2015 I went to Tonawanda, New York (a suburb of Buffalo) to visit my friend Sean. I stayed at Sean's house and ate Ted's Hot Dogs, Paula's Donuts, Good Guys' Pizza and Wings, and a Mighty Taco!
