First time: Spring, 1998
Last time: Summer, 2013

In the Spring of 1998 I drove from Spokane, Washington to Edmonton, Canada to visit an online friend of mine. While in Edmonton we visited the West Edmonton Mall, the largest mall in North America (larger than the Mall of America, which is only the largest mall in America).

More recently, in the Summer of 2012, we took a train ride from Alaska into Canada and back, following the old gold mining trail.



A few days later we visited the Craigdarroch Castle Historic House Museum in Vancouver, British Columbia. Each of these trips required having a valid passport.





In the summer of 2013, my family and I visited and stayed on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. Here are a couple of pictures of the Falls from our hotel room.







Whle in Canada we also rode the Maid of the Mist tour and visited several of the shops in and around that area.
