1980 Yamaha Virago 750
Spring, 1990
After blowing up my Mustang, my dad helped me acquire a Yamaha Virago 750. It was reliable and relatively quick for a street bike. It had an electric starter and nice mags. I think I paid $400 for this bike and kept it for about a year. This bike was easy on the pocket book -- decent on gas and cheap on insurance. I sold this bike for $400 to one of my dad's co-workers, who really fixed it up and made it look great.
I don't have any pictures of my Virago, so below is an advertisement for the identical bike. Mine was gray, and had the same wheels as the one pictured below.
