Despite the fact that Microsoft has moved into a long file name environment, many programs have not made that transition yet — including many emulators for the GP32. With GP32 Renamer, you can rename one file (or more importantly an entire directory of files) from long file names back to 8.3 file names. I recently used this to convert a bunch of emulator roms for the Xbox from long file names to 8.3 file names and it worked beautifully.
