So far, the road to recovery has been relatively smooth and speedy. I had surgery on Monday. Wednesday morning, I rode with dad to Toys R’ Us to do a little Christmas shopping. Later in the afternoon, I stopped by work to make a quick appearance. <\/p>\n

Tuesday I had two doses of Loritab to ease the pain of the stitches a bit. Wednesday, I had two doses as a form of insurance (taking some before going out “just in case” things started hurting. Today, I haven’t had any. I spent most of today laying around the house, watching movies on television and playing on the computer. This afternoon I resumed my old role of picking Mason up from school. After that we stopped by the post office to check the PO box, and pick up a package. <\/p>\n

The only pain I’m having at the moment is a stabbing pain in my left shoulder, typically associated with laproscopic surgery. Supposedly this will go away after a day or two. Can’t wait.<\/p>\n

According to the scale, I’m down 25 pounds this morning, all attributable to the liquid diet I’ve been on (and will remain on for a few more weeks).
