Morgan came down with a cold or something yesterday, so last night she was up every hour on the hour, coughing up crap and screaming at the top of her lungs. We didn’t get much sleep the night before either, so I was kind of looking forward to getting more than an hour’s worth of sleep at a time. On top of that, we seem to have a broken smoke detector which decided to go off once an hour as well. So pretty much every hour all night long it was either your turn to hold the baby, or your turn to stand on a chair fanning the smoke detector with a book until it shut off. I pulled it off the ceiling but it’s wired in (no batteries to remove). I don’t think it’s a carbon monoxide detector either, so I really don’t get why it was going off all night except for the fact that it’s right by an air vent.
