I’ve been working on the same blog post now for three days. By last night it was up to around 1,000 words. Today I decided it was not salvageable, so I deleted it and decided to move on. Here were the highlights:<\/p>\n

– I hated our dog (Tessie).

\n– The dog could escape at will from our new fence.
\n– The dog was making me lose my mind.
\n– We found a new home for the dog.
\n– Last weekend, we gave the dog to a friend.
\n– Last weekend, we got a cat from the pound.
\n– The cat’s name is Dusty.
\n– The kids like the cat 100x more than they liked the dog.
\n– Susan likes the cat 1,000x more than she liked the dog.
\n– I like the cat 5,000x more than I liked the dog.<\/p>\n
