Earlier this week, I invited everyone who reads my blog and\/or has friended me on Facebook to stop by our house for Thanksgiving Dessert. Radio chatter had been strangely silent prior to the scheduled event. No one asked for my address (then again, it’s not hard to obtain). When prompted for an estimated number of guests, I told Susan to expect somewhere between six and six-hundred.<\/p>\n

Turns out, six was an over-estimate. Aside from family members, only one additional person stopped by. Scott Cowan.<\/p>\n

Turns out, most people have obligations Thanksgiving evening. Or they live too far away. Or they have no interest in dessert parties.<\/p>\n
