A quick update from the field. It’s been a rough couple of weeks. Mason was sick all last week (Susan stayed home with him three days, I got the the other two). He finally got to feeling better over the weekend, but not before passing those good ol’ germs over to mommy and I. I’m pretty sure an X-Ray of my head would just show snot from ear to ear at this point.
Today after work we decided to go to Chuck E. Cheese for a fun dinner. Mason had a blast. He loved the big performing animals, and he rode all the rides, including a little train with Barney, a bulldozer with Bob the Builder, and some spin-around-thing with the Teletubbies. He screamed and laughed when we played whack-a-mole, and sang and danced while Chuck and friends were on stage performing. All the games and rides are a token only, which made for a fun an inexpensive night, and the special toddler area was just right for Mason’s age. We’ll be doing that again.
I’ve been spending a lot of time getting my arcade all finished (including my MAME cabinet!) and working on converting the upstairs room into a home theater. Both projects are slated to be completed before people come over for Thanksgiving, so I’ll (hopefully) be able to post some finished pictures before then!
