Saturday’s Tulsa Shopping Extravaganza was a success! My friend mapped out around eight or so different used book stores in Tulsa, while I really just wanted to hit Vintage Stock and see if we could stumble across any thrift stores. While we didn’t find any thrift stores, I did end up picking up over 30 Atari 2600 games I didn’t have, plus a few Game Gear carts and some other random odds and ends. All in all it was a good one day trip. I’ll have the pictures online soon.
Mason, Susan, her mother Liz, and our neices and nephew Jessica, Katie, and Dylan all hopped in the car Friday evening for a quick vacation to Quartz Mountain. I love the cost of living here in Oklahoma. Susan rented a cabin for six people for under a hundred bucks. They ended up touring the rock quarry as well as hanging out at the lodge, swimming and eating whenever they could. And I missed all the fun. ;)
