The Tracker Flips its Lid

For some reason this morning I decided to drive the Tracker instead of the Rodeo. As I turned on to Czech Hall road and started speeding up, I heard a sound and looked up. That’s when the entire top of my tracker (the smaller front piece that covers the front seats, not the large rear piece) flew off and landed in the middle of the road. I looked in the rear view mirror and saw people behind me hitting their brakes and swerving left and right to miss it lying in the middle of the road. I did a U-turn and went back to pick it up. I vaguely remember the last time it was about to rain I went outside and set the top on the Tracker (so the interior wouldn’t get wet) but didn’t clamp it into place. Whoops. Fortunately I was being followed by some quick thinking drivers who managed to avoid getting hit by the 5’x3′ piece of plastic I launched at them.

Last night was pretty much my last “classroom” school night at SNU. Next Wednesday we have to give short (5 minute) presentations, then we have a week off, then we have to present our final project presentations. April 20th is my last night of school — May 14th is graduation. I’m seriously going to miss both the social aspect of going to school and the mental activity school provides.
