Winter Diet Summary – Week 8/9 and 9/9

My winter diet ended with a Christmas cookie-filled whimper. Due to the cold weather I haven’t been walking as much as I used to. Combine that with all the snacks and goodies I had during Christmas and New Years, and the results shouldn’t be surprising.

The grand net loss of the winter diet was about 10 pounds. I don’t know why that feels like a failure, but it does. For the next month or two I’m just looking forward to maintaining my weight, in hopes of an exercise increase in the early spring when it begins to warm up again.
