Here’s the link to the latest build of Hangar 22:
If you want to help out, here’s how you can: play the game, and take notes. I’m interested in in everything from typos and mistakes to things that are broke and simply don’t work.
I’ll tell you this up front: in its current state, the game is unwinnable. However, you should be able to get all the way through Day One and go to sleep. That will get you to Day Two, and you should be able to get most of the way through Day Two. If you make it to a room that says “THIS ROOM IS UNFINISHED”, that’s about as far as you can get.
For those of you “old school” adventures, remember that in Inform (the programming language I used), LOOK OBJECT doesn’t work — it’s either EXAMINE OBJECT or LOOK AT OBJECT. Why they made that change, I’m not sure.
I’m heading out of town for a few days. Jot down your findings and e-mail them to me at rob66ohara@rob77ohara.com (without the numbers). If you would, put “HANGAR 22” in the subject of your e-mail. When I get back in town I’ll sort through the bug list, make the repairs, and hopefully have a completed version of the game ready to go out the following week.
So far so good. I haven’t spent too much time on it but I will tonight after work. I have a strange craving for tacos…
Is it possible to drive the El Camino?
