Look, I get it. Arcades are businesses, and sometimes when machines die they aren’t worth fixing. But for goodness sake, can’t you at least burn them in a funeral pyre, or bury them, or cover them up with blankets or something? They look so … cold.
Several more photos of machines sitting out in the rain and snow here. No, that’s not more rain; it’s my tears of sadness.
There are at least two non-redemption-game cabinets in there that could’ve been converted into… well… something. (By someone with more time than I have.) Argh.
Grrrrrrr… I hate seeing that. Such a waste! :(
So relieved. Based on the title of the blog part and r recent weather, I thought the arcade roof fell in.
I’m sorry but those games look pretty crappy.
Most of them are redemption games, but there are at least two cabinets (the black one and the red Dynamo Z cab) that, with control panels, would have made decent cabinets.
I wish I could come up with something to turn that fire engine one into.
redemption games:- non working removed of copper wire by crack heads.
these were originally from Increddible Pizza (now the “lido”)
Red Dynamo Cabinet was mine, tube was poop, I needed a control panel, was a Tekken 2. It had swollen water damage, before it got snowed on.
That’s too bad about the red Dynamo. I always wanted one of those “Z” cabinets.
