Yes, I bought it. No, I’m not proud. No, it’s not as small as it looks. Yes, I’m still trying to determine if it’s big enough for us. No, we didn’t sell any of our other cars. Yes, I’m too old to be driving something like this. Yes, it looks like a box. No, I don’t care that you don’t like them.

I know these types of rides are targeted by the manufacturers for 20-somethingers, but I’ve found that a disproportionate number of the owners are actually those of us in the late-Gen X / early-Boomer demographic. I’ve had my Honda Element (which was the car that really kicked off the boxy crossover market) for over 7 years now and still love it!
And congrats on the new hoopty!

It’s better than a minivan! Get some phat rims, yo!
Think of it as a mini minivan, if it helps. ;) My wife loves our Honda Odyssey so much I’ve suggested she might like a boxy car next, so she can enjoy the raised seats.
At least you didn’t get the Nissan Cube. Those are fugly. Asymmetry ain’t my thang.
Scions are cool. I was thinking of getting a Scion xD but it was too small for my needs. How does the vehicle handle. Have you tried driving it on a windy day? That would be my concern: that it would act like a sail on a windy day…or when a semi zooms by you.
Interesting. We were thinking of a minivan type thing and I didn’t think of that.
We have a CR-V
I’m planning on getting a Honda Element in the next few months.
Telling me Susan prefered that to the car you sat in at Pops?
