Scans

Over the weekend I got caught up on some of my scanning. I have one or two more high school yearbooks left to do, but things are coming along. While digging out in the garage I found a copy of an old middle school newsletter, the IMS Times (Winter 1986). Along with being listed as the editor (I don’t remember that at all), I had two articles published in the newsletter: “Hackers – The Big Controversy” (yes, I was ahead of my time) and “Dare to be Bored – A Look at ISS”. ISS stands for In School Suspension, and to write the article I actually volunteered to spend a day in ISS (eat your heart out, Hunter S. Thompson).

All the scans I’ve done so far (including this one) are located at http://www.robohara.com/scans

  1. I.S.S. = In School Suspension. Similar to detention, except it took place during the school day and in a large wooden box.
