Setup was easy and performance is great!

My wife and I installed two ceiling fans on our first floor. There’s a gap between the 1st floor ceiling and the 2nd floor walking surface to accommodate HVAC ductwork. You can cut a small access panel in the ceiling and drill a hole in the floor on the second floor, and run the cable from upstairs to downstairs. Save the piece of drywall you cut as an access panel and then re-install it using one of the myriad of tricks for patching drywall available on YouTube. I prefer wired internet anyway, but that’s just me.

Reading your story I’m glad again I used the remodelling of our ground floor to get fixed network sockets installed near places with networked equipment.

I have a great connection upstairs now. Much more stable than my wireless as the signal was always in-and-out due to the terrible interference in my home.

and it works great for us. Right now it’s only $20 if you want to take a chance on romance. Good luck!
