I live in western arkansas. But first, I want to see if you have Boot Hill, Fire Truck, Gorf, Nintendo Red Tent VS Tennis, Pacland, dragons lair. This is for starters!

I thought I might point out a few things, just to make sure that someone doesn’t show up and get disappointed.

First off, we have a game failure rate of about one a day, which means that on any given day the one that you are looking for might not be in service. We rotate them around as fast as possible but sometimes it’s a major issue. Gyruss and Turbo both currently have monitor problems. What you didn’t see hidden behind some other games was our Elevator Action and Gravitar which both have various problems. We also have a Rally-X and a Space Duel and a Star Trek and a 3rd centipede that are not on the floor at the moment.

The day after you left we had 4 pinballs running and only two down. Pinballs are up and down all the time.

If you want relaxed game play, come on a Wednesday or a Thursday. Thursdays in particular are very very light days. Fridays and Saturdays are pretty much shoulder to shoulder, so fun if you like a lot of people, not so much fun if you are waiting to play Ms. Pac.

Thanks for stopping by, and I also wanted to say that Burgertime score was amazing!

And, congrats to the “Stranger”. I am one of the partner/owners at 1984. We take a lot of pride in the quality of machines and we focus on having the best games we can find. Its an honor to have someone like yourself take the time to drive 600 miles round trip, and then make the additional effort to blog your experience. Thank you! The day after you left I repaired two of our pinball machines, so 4 of 6 are running today and one of those is a new purchase that has to be rehabbed (its on the floor because we dont have much storage space) if you are coming to visit us for a particular machine, its a good idea (like Rob said) to call and make sure its up and running (most are) but pins do break down and require a lot of maintenance. Parking for all of downtown can be tricky, expect to walk – but its a cool area and there is plenty to see. I will make sure an email link is easier to find on the website (thanks for the heads-up) Also if you go to the HighScore page o n the website – there is a link there with current high scores and machine notes. (its not 100%, but normally only a week behind – and its the best list of all the machines we have right now.

Thanks again, Lincoln Whisler 1984arcade.com
