Too fast on the naming process to suit a little boy. Last night we were discussing new names. He likes Winky, from Escape to Witch Mountain, and I was telling him about Piwacket from Bell, Book, and Candle (another old movie), but he still hadn’t settled on a name. When he finds the right one, he’ll let you know!

Of course all the bedrooms are closed off, so chances are any surprise presents will be left upstairs, in the computer room.

After watching the cat “walk” sideways on the floor while holding onto the couch, I’m glad we’ve still got the old livingroom furniture. Every now and then I think I want new, then I see one of the kids running around with a sharpie and I remember why we’re not there yet. : )

We got the neutering down anyway. I’m hoping that when we get home today, I find a present in the litter box and not somewhere else.

Just in case it hasn’t already come up, first thing is neutering and front claws removed. If you leave the back claws in, they’re not totally defenseless, can climb a tree if necessary to escapte danger, but still won’t destroy furniture, drapes, and children’s hands and faces. OF course, they still have teeth too. HOWEVER, all that being said, we had a lot of cats over the years, and some of them make pretty good pets. They have their own personalities, and all ours were pretty good except the siamese, and he was a mean devil! So now, post us a picture of N.A.O.
