then came the sega and nintendo consoles.usually i would have to sell one to upgrade to another. however the c64 was the only ine I hung onto. I think because it captured part if my arcade youth with a huge line up of arcade conversions. Funny how ive learned.more.about the
c64 after the creators death than.i did in 10 years of owning one.

I was haunted by his quote in “On the Edge” that said “(Jack) destroyed me, he destroyed my family, he did all kinds of terrible things.” There’s no doubt that Tramiel changed the landscape of personal computers forever; there’s also no doubt that he left a lot of collateral damage in his wake.
