I saw somebody say, “I read his Rolling Stone interview this morning… absolutely infuriating. Pro-Life/Anti Choice.” Wow. I didn’t say anything because what can you say? Justin is a teen, what do people expect him to say? And, as you said Flack, why was he asked this in the first place? Silly.

I’m no fan of the Bieb either but I’ll have to stick up for him here, too, insofar as his opinions on weighty topics such as abortion or North Korea do not (too my middle-aged ears anyway) sound any more or less informed than any average non-famous person of the same age bracket.

What? Because he’s a Disneyfied idoru with a fanbase of millions we’re seriously expecting him to know this stuff on the same level as someone from the Supreme Court or the Department of State?! It’s Rolling Stone, not Meet The Press…

And boo on Rolling Stone for further exploiting the already-exploited teen for cheap laughs and the pretense that their rag somehow still counts as sophisticated journalism.
