Usually when an object is that close the zoom lens will only give a fuzzy image.

Earlier this year I entertained the thought of getting one of those really big zoom lenses for my Canon Rebel. I put the idea permanently on hold when the store clerk told me that they only start making them when you pay a bond in advance. $12,000. GULP. I guess I’ll stay with my measly 55-250 zoom lens.
