One Day of Driving Down

Like always, I got a little sidetracked this morning before actually hitting the road. I made it out of the house with everything but a phone charger. My buddy Josh was able to hook me up before I hit the turnpike. Thanks, man!

Because of my multiple delays I missed hooking up with my friend Gapporin in Joplin, so instead I swung by the 1984 Arcade and killed about half an hour by myself playing Robotron, Tempest, Burgertime, TRON, Gyruss, Donkey Kong, and several other games. The guys were working on getting a monitor installed in their sit down Star Wars and boy does that thing look nice! That place is awesome and anyone passing through Springfield, Missouri should definitely stop in.

After several more hours of driving I am currently sitting in the scariest hotel I have ever had the courage to stay in. Do I feel unsafe? Not really. Do I feel scared? A little. I was originally supposed to be in room 18 but after discovering there were already people IN room 18, I was moved to room 20, a move which was appreciated by both parties.

Tomorrow, I think, will be my big driving day. I plan on leaving early and driving long.
